| Cystic Fibrosis is Ireland’s most common life threatening inherited disease. While as yet there is no cure for cystic fibrosis, new improved treatments have made a huge difference to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis. ICST has developed a close working partnership with The Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland to provide finance for essential CFAI patient and family support. The Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland is a voluntary organisation set up in 1963 to increase knowledge and awareness of cystic fibrosis and to give advice and support to people with cystic fibrosis and families.
